Career opportunities

Depending on the bachelor course students choose and the areas in which they major, students may find employment in accounting, finance, human resources, international business, management, marketing, project management, public relations, software development, systems analysis or tourism. They may also like to launch their own business.

Entry requirements

For students from United States

Students are required to complete international academic qualification equivalent to Australian year 12. English Language Requirements: IELTS (Academic Module) - Overall 6.0 No individual band below 6.0; TOEFL iBT - 75 (Reading no less than 18, Writing no less than 20); PTE Academic - 50 (no communicative skill less than 50).

For international students

If you’re currently in Year 12 or have completed Year 12 in the last seven years, you’ll be considered for admission to undergraduate courses primarily based on whether you have successfully completed the Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE), or an interstate or international Year 12 qualification.

English language requirements

Satisfactory completion of one of the following:

Swinburne's English for Academic Purposes (EAP 4 Upper Intermediate level) with overall 65%, all skills 60%

minimum IELTS overall band of 5.5 (Academic Module) with no individual band below 5.0

TOEFL iBT (internet-based) 50 (no less than 5 in reading, 5 in listening, 14 in speaking, 15 in writing)

C1 Advanced 162, no band less than 154

Pearson (PTE) minimum score of 42 (no communicative skills less than 36)
