Computer Science & Physics at Trent gives you the opportunity to apply the underlying principles of physics and mathematics to a whole wide world of subjects, including hardware and software interfaces, electronics, software design, networks, distributed operating systems. An understanding of leading-edge technology combined with a foundation in physics will help you answer questions about the particles and forces composing our universe, along with the rich complexities that arise through their interactions. Information systems analysts and consultants analyze systems requirements, develop and implement information systems development plans, policies and procedures, and provide advice on a wide range of information systems issues. They are employed in information technology consulting firms and in information technology units throughout the private and public sectors, or they may be self-employed.

Entry requirements

For international students

Student must complete High School diploma (or equivalent) qualification.

English Language Proficiency Tests:

  • TOEFL: minimum score of 86 IBT with a minimum writing score of 20.
  • IELTS: minimum score of 6.5, with no band below 6.0
  • CAEL: minimum score of 60
  • Cambridge B2 First, C1 Advanced/C2 Proficiency (Certificate of Advanced English): 176, with no sub-score below 169
  • Pearson PTE Academic: minimum score of 59.
  • The Duolingo English Test score of 115
