The bachelor of nursing program provides you with skills that are in high demand. We offer a number of nursing experiences, including real and simulated client care experiences. The number of clinical experience hours our students complete throughout the program is among the highest in the country.

Program options

3 year | Bachelor of nursing (accelerated) - NEW!

The new accelerated option is a 3-year option for students who have completed a full two-year course load (minimum 60 credit hours) of a university undergraduate program.

4 year | Bachelor of nursing (collaborative)

There are three locations available for you to complete your nursing training:

  • WRSON in Corner Brook
  • Memorial University School of Nursing
  • Centre for Nursing Studies in St. John's.

Entry requirement for international students

As the Bachelor of Nursing (Collaborative) Four-Year Option is a direct entry program, high school students can apply for admission directly from high school.

Accelerated Option

Required Courses:

  • Biology 2201 and 3201, or their equivalents
  • Chemistry 3202, or equivalent
  • Math 3200 or 3201, or equivalent

English language requirements:

TOEFL - A minimum score of 79 with at least 20 in each of Reading and Writing, and no less than 17 in Listening and Speaking is required on the internet-based TOEFL.

IELTS - A minimum overall band score of 6.5, with at least band 6 in each of Writing and Reading.
