What will I learn?

The courses that comprise the certificate provide students with foundational knowledge about the biological and psychosocial bases of health and health care. This certificate is beneficial to students planning a career in health care broadly defined, including medicine, nursing, allied health care professions, health policy and biomedical research.

Students registering at Mount Allison are expected to have graduated from high school at the university preparatory level. International English Language Testing System – Academic (IELTS) score of 6.5 with no band score lower than 6.0; TOEFL score of 90 (internet test), With minimum band score: Listening: 17; Reading: 18; Speaking: 20; Writing: 17; CAEL (CE) - Canadian Academic English Language Assessment, Computer Edition – 70 With no part lower than 60; Cambridge English (B2 First, C1 Advanced, or C2 Proficiency) – 176 With no band score lower than 169.
