What will I learn?

The Business program is for students interested in obtaining an education in multiple business disciplines or developing a strong foundation in a functional area of business; are well-organized, can effectively work under tight timelines, problem solve, enjoy collaboration, teamwork and continuous learning; along with using computer applications and working in an office environment.

Students will gain knowledge and skills in contemporary global concepts, theories and business practices that are related to the functional areas of business: accounting, finance, human resources, marketing and operations. To ensure students are ready for the modern business environment, they will learn the new essential business skills of effective communication, ethics, customer service, collaboration and teamwork, using technology to be digitally fluent, demonstrating personal and social responsibility, resiliency, adaptability, along with positive attitudes and behaviours necessary for a global environment.

Entry requirements

For international students

  • Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD), or equivalent, or mature student status (19 years or older)
  • Grade 12 English (C or U), or equivalent (minimum grade required), or take the Centennial English Admission Test
  • Grade 11 Mathematics (C, M, or U) or Grade 12 Mathematics (C or U), or equivalent (minimum grade required), or take a Centennial College Math Skills Assessment for Admission

English Language Requirements:

  • A TOEFL score of 550 (paper-based) or 80+ (internet based with no test below 20)
  • IELTS (Academic) score of 6.0+ (with no single test score below 5.5)
  • CAEL (Canadian Academic English Language Assessment) with an overall band score of 60
  • Pearson Test of English (Academic) score of 51 plus
  • ITEP (International Test of English Proficiency) score of 3.7 plus.
