What will I learn?

This program is accredited by Chartered Professional Accountants (CPA) Canada, so students who successfully complete the program, including all CPA requirements, are exempt from all 6 modules of the CPA Professional Education Program and may proceed directly to the Common Final Examination (CFE).Students must complete 7 approved graduate courses (0.50 unit weight) over two terms.At the School of Accounting and Finance (SAF), we're not training accounting and financial professionals. We're inspiring the next generation of leaders who will help drive change in all areas of society by redefining what it means to be an accounting and financial professional.

Entry requirements

For international students

Successful completion of any of the following University of Waterloo four-year Honours undergraduate degrees, with at least a 75% average across all courses taken in the last two years of the program:Bachelor of Accounting and Financial Management, with completion of the Professional Accountant SpecializationBachelor of Math/Chartered Professional Accountancy Studies, orBachelor of Science/Chartered Professional Accountancy Studies.
