What will I learn?

The Master of Health Ethics degree program will help students develop the skills needed to identify and analyze ethical issues in health care and in the life sciences, and to propose solutions to these issues as they arise in the clinical, research, and policy contexts. Students will gain a basic knowledge of the functioning of the health system and will have the opportunity to design and carry out a research project.MHE – The MHE program is designed to be completed in four semesters of full time study, and consists of three options: 1) thesis, 2) non-thesis, capstone project, and 3) non-thesis research papers.Duration (Full-time students):MHE: Variable, 1-2 yearsCampus: St. John'sApplication Deadline:February 1 for Fall admission

Entry requirements

For international students

Applicants must have completed Bachelor's degree (minimum 75% average) and an undergraduate philosophy course with substantial ethics content (e.g., Philosophy 2040: Moral Philosophy at Memorial University)
