If youre looking for a career creating magic, the Interactive Media Design program will give you the skills to bring your creativity to life in digital media design, development and production.In this two-year diploma program, you will learn computer based web design and programming, as well as 3-D, animation and design for print. Youll also learn in design, coding, marketing and media management. Study at Fanshawes London Downtown Campus, in the heart of Londons digital media centre, which is fully-equipped to give you practical skills in industry-standard software such as Adobe and Maxon, and open-source technologies for web application development. Graduate from the Interactive Media Design program with a diverse and dynamic skill-set, as well as the technical ability to embark on an exciting career as a programmer. Career opportunities for graduates of this program include communication design studios, computer software development firms, interactive software publishers, media production companies and information technology consulting firms.The Interactive Media Design program will professionally prepare students for an evolving job market in digital media design, development and production, providing comprehensive training in new media technologies with an emphasis on web application design, interactive rich media, and current technologies for developing usable, media-rich sites and applications. The curriculum will combine courses in design, coding, marketing and media management and incorporate industry-standard tools from companies such as Adobe and Maxon, as well as open-source technologies for web application development.

Entry requirements

For international students

OSSD with courses from the College (C), University (U), University/College (M), or Open (O) stream OR Academic and Career Entrance Certificate (ACE) OR Ontario High School Equivalency Certificate (GED) OR Mature Applicant with appropriate preparation.

English Language Requirements:

Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) test with a minimum score of 79 for the Internet-based test (iBT), with test results within the last two years.

International English Language Testing System (IELTS) Academic test with an overall score of 6.0 with no score less than 5.5 in any of the four bands, with test results within the last two years.

Canadian Academic English Language (CAEL) test with an overall score of 60 with no score less than 50 in any of the four bands, with test results within the last two years.

Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE) with a minimum score of 53, with test results within the last two years.

A Cambridge English Test (FCE/CAE/CPE) with an overall score on the Cambridge English Scale of 169 with no language skill less than 162, with test results within the last two years.
