What will I learn?

The Engineering Business and Safety Management (EBSM) program is a two-year Graduate Certificate program developed for international students with a minimum of four-year bachelor’s degree in any stream of engineering (e.g., civil, mechanical, electrical, industrial, and others). Unlike other college programs, this broad exposure delivers a nonconventional platform to our students making them market-ready and providing opportunities to engage with the diverse and dynamic Canadian workforce. The fourth and final semester of the program is dedicated to providing Canadian work experience for students where they go through a 15-week work placement. Over the past few years, we have managed to build a strong relationship and network with various industry partners helping students to obtain placement offers with college endorsement.Confederation College's Engineering Business and Safety Management program leads to roles like Technical Sales Specialist, Project Management Trainee, and Health and Safety Coordinator. Our graduates have successfully joined companies such as Tetra Tech, Alstom Canada, and Ontario Power Generation. We provide real-world work placements, ensuring practical experience in sectors like energy, retail, and engineering consulting. Through our strong industry network, students gain valuable connections for their future careers.
