The BBA(BA) programme is crafted to meet the growing industry demand for talents in the business analytics field. Its curriculum offers students a comprehensive coverage of both technical and managerial skill sets. What you'll study
Students in their junior years will take core courses including programming language, database management, introduction to business analytics, management information systems, decision and risk analysis, etc. They help students build the foundations for advanced topics in senior years. Students also have the option to choose from analytics technique courses and business application courses. The aim is to provide students with state-of-the-art experiences in artificial intelligence, big data, social media, and other latest development. Competitive Admission Standards:
You must achieve at least one of the following English Language Requirements to be considered for admission to HKU.
International Baccalaureate Diploma
GCSE / GCEO
Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English / Cambridge Certificate in Advanced English
SAT Reasoning Test: Sub-scores of 550 in both Critical Reading and Writing in the same attempt of the SAT Reasoning Test (prior to March 2016); or Test scores of 31 in Writing and Language and 30 in Reading in the same attempt of the Redesigned SAT Reasoning Test;
IELTS: An overall band of 6.5 in IELTS Academic Module;
Total of 93 with sub-scores of 22 in each of the sections.
