This program aims to prepare students with the theoretical and methodological foundations in becoming an urban professional. It will equip students with the active attitude as well as the knowledge, analytic approaches and learning skills in understanding and critically evaluating the theories and practices of the management of large cities both in the Region and internationally.

To be eligible for admission to the Master in Urban Management programme, an applicant must satisfy the General Entrance requirements:
Applicants whose entrance qualifications were obtained from an institution where the medium of instruction is NOT English should also fulfill the following minimum English proficiency requirement:
(a) A score of 580 (paper-based test) or 66 (revised paper-delivered test) or 92 (internet-based test) on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL); or
(b) An overall band score of 6.5 in International English Language Testing Systems (IELTS); or
(c) A score of 490 in the new College English Test (CET-6) of China mainland#; or
(d) Other equivalent qualifications
