What will I learn?

Bachelor of agriculture science [BSP] program is both multi and interdisciplinary in nature and is focused on agricultural science covering various disciplines in the basic, applied and social sciences. The scope and aiming place emphasis on biotic, physical and social systems. The program also emphasizes on the sciences and technology of producing and utilization of plantation of agriculture commodities, food agriculture and integrated farming. This program is aimed of producing relevant and professional applied scientist involved in planning, management and research to improve quality and competitiveness of agricultural outputs.

Program Objective

Produce knowledgeable agriculture officer through lifelong learning and scientific thinking skills approach in leading the agriculture industry.

Produce agriculture officers that are capable of developing and managing agricultural activities with emphasis on sustainable farming practices and environmental conservation as well as providing good advice to farmers.

Produce agriculture officers who can apply knowledge of agricultural science to conduct research and further studies.

Entry requirements

For international students

Applicant who is interested in pursuing his/ her studied at UPM must fulfill the following:

To have received a National Higher School Certificate (or an Advanced Level or the equivalent of 12 years of basic education) with the grade 80% and above or

A Diploma from recognized Institutions with at least a CGPA of 3.00.

Specific program requirements also required.
