What will I learn?

This field focuses on the development of expertise equine research with emphasis on clinical cases, diseases, diagnosis and medicine. Clinical research studies on equine diseases are based on collection of clinical data and development of more effective laboratory diagnostic methods for the investigation and treatment of clinical cases. Candidates also will have the opportunity to conduct research related to special medicine in horses, problems in equine reproduction and breeding, zoonotic diseases, epidemiology, exercise physiology and use diagnostic equipment's in clinical case investigation and during field surgery. Among the strength of the research group include internal medicine, reproduction, diseases of the respiratory tract, metabolic disorders and normal and abnormal exercise physiology in endurance horses.

Entry requirements

For international students

Candidate must have a Master degree with thesis in an appropriate field.

Acceptance into the programme is subject to approval by School of Graduates and the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, UPM.
