What will I learn?

In the international Bachelor's degree programme in Artificial Intelligence you will study intelligence and develop intelligent and user-friendly products.

This international degree programme focuses on human thinking, artificial thinking (computers, robots) and behaviour in social systems (e.g. group behaviour). You will study the underlying processes in order to predict or simulate behaviour.

Artificial Intelligence draws on knowledge from various disciplines, such as cognitive psychology, linguistics, computing science, logic and philosophy. You will develop skills in these areas in the first year, after which you deepen your knowledge in the sub discipline you prefer, such as machine learning, robotics or cognitive science.

Entry requirements

For students from United States

Applicants must have qualifications that are considered equivalent to the Dutch pre-university diploma (VWO). TOEFL iBT: 90 (min. 21 every item); IELTS (Academic): 6.5 (min. 6.0 every item)

For international students

Secondary education equivalent to Dutch pre-university education is required. This is merely an indication of the required general level of applicants' previous education.

Mathematics: This is merely an indication of required background knowledge. The admissions board determines whether the specific contents of this/these course(s) meet the admission requirements of the bachelor programme for which you applied.
