What will I learn?

The biggest societal challenges are global, affecting half a billion EU citizens. This Master focuses on EU law that aims to secure economic prosperity, environmental integrity, proper responses to migration, and continued respect for the rule of law. EU law not only dominates these legal spheres within the EU, but also is a leading global force. This is a track of the Master's program in International and European Law (LLM).

Other English Language Requirements: TOEFL with a minimum score of 575 (paper-based) / 233 (computer-based).

For international students

Before applying, please make sure that you meet the following admission requirements:

  • You have an academic Bachelor's degree in Law before the start of this Master's program, or;
  • You have an academic Bachelor’s degree in European Studies before the start of this Master’s program, or:
  • You have an academic Bachelor’s degree in a law related field (with a minimum of 90 ECTS in law courses).
  • TOEFL with a minimum score of 90 (internet-based) or 577 (paper-based).
  • Academic IELTS score with a minimum of 6.5 score overall and a minimum score of 6.0 on individual parts of the test.
  • Cambridge English test results: C1 advanced (formerly CAE) or C2 proficiency (formerly CPE). For both C1 and C2, we accept a score of A, B or C.
