Overview

Whitireia New Zealand known earlier as Whitireia Community College. Whitireia is a tertiary technology training institute funded and owned by the New Zealand government. Currently there are four campuses – Wellington, Porirua, Kapiti and Auckland. Currently more than 120 programmes from certificate courses to postgraduate degrees are offered that cover areas as diverse as film-making and music and nursing and journalism. All programmes offered by Whitireia are accredited and recognised by the government and offer a firm foundation for a relevant career to students.
