What will I learn?

Take advantage of this unique opportunity for multidisciplinary study and discover the complex world of international trade. Explore the role of trade in society from a range of perspectives-the international legal rules, economic rationales and the political and social implications. Study how the world is connected through trade and the way it affects businesses, as producers and exporters-consider these issues through the lenses of different disciplines. Explore the impact of trade on indigenous populations, including the historical and contemporary perspectives of Māori involvement in international trade.

Entry requirements

For students from United States

Students must have a Bachelor's degree with Honours with a B range average in a relevant subject.

For international students

To be accepted into this programme you will need to meet:

A Bachelor's degree with at least a B average

Acceptance by the programme director as capable of proceeding with the proposed course of study

Proof of English proficiency

To be accepted into this programme you will need to meet one of the following:

IELTS overall band of 7, including a writing sub-score of 7 and no sub-score below 6.5

TOEFL 100 on the internet-based test with a minimum of 25 in writing

final scores with writing ‘5, reading ‘5 and speaking ‘5 and listening ‘4
