The course starts with an introduction to pharmacy retail operations, where you will learn everything you need to know about professional conduct, customer service and how to communicate to your patients while providing accurate health advice to patients and your community.
You will then progress to the dispensary side of the pharmacy where you will learn about pharmacy law and legislation, dispensary processes, anatomy and physiology, how to recognise how different body systems work and their disorders, routes of administration and formulation of medicines.
You’ll gain hands on experience in a fun, practical learning environment, giving you the skills and knowledge required to deliver accurate health advice to customers and your community as a fully qualified Level 5 Pharmacy Technician.
You'll also gain real world industry experience and complete 530 hours at a pharmacy provider as part of your training.
