What will I learn?

Develop an understanding of key finance principles in as little as eight months with the Postgraduate Diploma in Applied Finance. The Postgraduate Diploma in Applied Finance is designed for students with a bachelor’s degree in any field who want to prepare themselves for a professional role in the financial services sector. In as little as eight months, students will develop the advanced knowledge and skills required for financial decision making and financial analysis. The Postgraduate Diploma in Applied Finance is taught over two 10-week trimesters. Each trimester includes 10 weeks of teaching, with exams scheduled in weeks 11 and 12.You must successfully complete 120 points from the Master of Applied Finance. All courses are 15 points. You can choose how many courses you take to fit around work demands and personal commitments. You can continue working full-time while completing your Postgraduate Diploma in Applied Finance part-time.

An applicant must: Have completed the Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science, or equivalent Be registered as a Medical Laboratory Scientist with the Medical Sciences Council of New Zealand (MSCNZ) Hold a current Practising Certificate as a Medical Laboratory Scientist, issued by the MSCNZ
