As well as providing a strong academic orientation to the world of commerce and public service, this programme equips students with the practical skills needed to become effective managers of teams and individuals. This programme enables students to acquire an in-depth understanding of a wide range of business concepts and prepares them for work in a number of general management roles. There is a particular emphasis on developing the ability to manage people, so that by the end of the programme students should be able to handle confidently many of the complex interpersonal interactions which take place between members of teams, clients and customers. Academic Progression
Upon completion of the Bachelor of Arts (Honours) Business Management (Top Up), students will be eligible for entry into the Master of Business Administration International Business / Master of Arts International Business programme offered by the University of Greenwich (UK). Students may apply to specialize in International Business, Operations & Logistics or Tourism & Hospitality Management.
Course Delivery
Students undertaking this programme will be expected to complete 5 modules of academic study, as well as fulfill a 30-credit Dissertation module as part of the academic and professional requirements of this course.
This programme is available in full and part time modes, and will take 12 months to complete. Students will attend 3 semesters of academic study, and are expected to complete between 30 credits to 45 credits each semester. Full-time students will attend classes 5 days a week on weekdays, while part-time students will attend classes 2-3 times a week on weekdays/weekends.
