What will I learn?

This curriculum equips graduates with analytical and reasoning skills, a broad understanding of modern mathematical concepts, and skills in computing and technical communication. Students can tailor the curriculum to their interests by pursuing one of four distinct tracks of study: Pure Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, or Business Analytics. Students are also given the option of pursuing concentrations in the Mathematics of Information and Communication, or in Computational Mathematics.

Students in this programme have the opportunity to specialize in a Track on Business Analytics, a specially-designed curriculum combining foundational mathematics courses with a selection of business- and finance-related courses offered by the Nanyang Business School (NBS) and the School of Computer Engineering. Students can be admitted to the Business Analytics Track after their first year of study, based on performance and interviews.
