What will I learn?

The Certificate in English Proficiency programme is designed to provide a reasonable proficiency in English for younger students who take English as a second language (ESL) enabling them to progress to higher academic programmes.

There are 5 levels in the programme and each level develops the four language skills (Speaking, Writing, Listening and Reading) progressively through coursework and exams.

The programme’s coursework is designed to improve the student’s language skills as well as build confidence in speaking and presenting in English to better prepare students in progressing to higher academic programmes

Graduation Requirements

In order to graduate, students have to:

Pass all levels of examination (Level 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5), with the exception of exempted levels.
