What will I learn?

This is one of the first programmes in Singapore to combine business and psychology, the Diploma in Consumer Behaviour and Research (DCBR) equips students with the know-how to turn insights into business success.

Built on a foundation of research and business strategies, this programme will train you to become a consumer expert who understands consumer insights, analyses their implications and formulates business strategies. Students will be able to understand what is driving consumers and decipher why, where, when, and how they buy the things they do.

Through industry projects and the use of advanced facilities in our Market Research Lab, you will receive extensive hands-on training. In addition, our industry attachment programme will allow you to gain valuable real-world experience.

With a Diploma in Consumer Behaviour and Research, you will be rewarded with further education opportunities in the Business, Social Science and Psychology faculties both locally and overseas.

Delve into the hearts and minds of people to understand how, why, where, and when they make purchasing decisions. Build a strong foundation of knowledge in the fundamentals of business and psychology. Develop advanced research skills in our Market Research Lab and through industry projects

Entry requirements

For international students

Applicants must satisfy the following minimum requirements: O-level holders must have English language with grades 1-6, mathematics (elementary/advanced) with grades 1-6, any three other subjects (to be eligible for admission, they must also have sat for one subject for the ELR2B2-B Aggregate Type) with grades 1-6; aggregate type (ELR2B2-B); NITEC holders must have subjects with GPA greater than equal to 3.5; Higher NITEC holders must have subjects with GPA greater than equal to 2.0. Applicants must satisfy the following minimum requirements: A-level holders must have the obtain an A-S grade for General Paper (English Medium), obtain an A-E grade for 3 other H2 subjects, and must have taken GCE 'A' Level examinations whilst studying in a Junior College / Millennia Institute in Singapore.
