What will I learn?

This programme will help students build a rewarding career in the hospitality industry. Students will learn skills to manage operations in key areas such as front office, housekeeping, and food and beverage. They will receive extensive hands-on training at on-campus five-star hotel training facility. Learning in this simulated environment will help students master the skills needed to excel in this industry and beyond. In addition, Industry Immersion Programme will provide students with opportunities to gain valuable real-world experience through internships at top hotels and companies in the hospitality industry. Students develop expertise and management skills related to the key operating departments of a hotel; acquire knowledge and skills related to the use of hospitality information systems; apply customer service skills to identify and exceed guests’ expectations; gain hands-on experience in real-world training facilities; and undergo 24-week industry Immersion Programme with reputable international hotel brands in Singapore. Graduates go on to build careers in international hotels, clubs, resorts, and tourist attractions. They will be well prepared to launch their career in roles such as concierge services executive/manager; sales and marketing executive/ assistant manager; food and beverage executive/manager; and guest relations officers/executive / manager.

Entry requirements

For international students

Applicants must satisfy the following minimum requirements: O-level holders must have English language with grades 1-6, mathematics (Elementary/Additional) with grades 1-6, any three other subjects (to be eligible for admission, they must also have sat for one subject for the ELR2B2-B aggregate type) with grades 1-6; NITEC/ Higher NITEC holders must have subjects with GPA greater than equal to 3.5 and 2.0 respectively. Applicants must satisfy the following minimum requirements: A-level holders must have the obtain an A-S grade for General Paper (English Medium), obtain an A-E grade for 3 other H2 subjects, and must have taken GCE 'A' Level examinations whilst studying in a Junior College / Millennia Institute in Singapore.
