What will I learn?

The Diploma in Human Resource Management with Psychology (DHRMP) will give you a range of skills that businesses are looking for in human resources (HR) professionals. The course integrates the science of human behaviour and motivations with training in specialized HR management skills. Hands-on training and our industry attachment programme will give you first-hand experience, designed to transform you into an industry-ready professional.

Students will learn about a wide range of topics spanning HR, international studies and psychology, while developing an understanding of employment law, labour relations, people development, performance management, talent management, and industrial organizational psychology. With a strong focus on creating international and local internship and work attachment opportunities for you, we are confident that you would not only be industry ready, but also world-ready.

DHRMP graduates are well equipped to support the HR function in any organization. You will be able to launch your career in roles such as:

HR management: employee relations analyst/officer; payroll administrator; recruitment analyst/officer; resourcing analyst/officer; remuneration and benefits analyst/officer

HR development: employment counselor; learning and development executive; training officer/analyst

HR generalist: human resource analyst/officer/executive

Graduates can also choose to pursue further education opportunities in the Social Sciences, Communication Studies, or Business Studies (Human Resource Management) at local and overseas universities.

Entry requirements

For international students

Applicants must satisfy the following minimum requirements: O-level holders must have English language with grades 1-6, mathematics (elementary/advanced) with grades 1-6, any three other subjects (to be eligible for admission, they must also have sat for one subject for the ELR2B2-B Aggregate Type) with grades 1-6; aggregate type (ELR2B2-B); NITEC holders must have subjects with GPA greater than equal to 3.5; Higher NITEC holders must have subjects with GPA greater than equal to 2.0.Applicants must satisfy the following minimum requirements: A-level holders must have the obtain an A-S grade for General Paper (English Medium), obtain an A-E grade for three other H2 subjects, and must have taken GCE 'A' Level examinations whilst studying in a Junior College / Millennia Institute in Singapore.
