What will I learn?

In the Diploma of Interior Design (DID), students will be equipped with skills to go beyond mere interior decoration. They will learn and engage in design research to develop their ideas and create interior spaces that are functional and purposeful. Students will be taught how to combine design aesthetics with technical knowledge, and develop techniques to best communicate their ideas. Interior Design students are also exposed to specialisation workshops and studio projects. Graduates are able to work in: interior design firms, architectural firms with in-house interior design department, exhibition/stage-set/event design companies, furniture design firms, model-making companies; merchandise organisations with in-house design/display department; consulting firms related to the building industry such as engineering, property management or development companies; other creative services such as computer graphics and animation.
