If you want to know how living systems and organisms can be used to improve our quality of life, the Diploma in Molecular Biotechnology (MBIO) may just be the course for you. Molecular Biotechnology is a growing field of science that combines applications from biochemistry, immunology, genetics and microbiology.
It can offer innovative solutions to tackle global problems ranging from human and animal health to agriculture and sustainable energy production. MBIO equips you with a strong foundation in the biosciences. To be eligible for our diplomas, candidates must have the following GCE ‘O’ Level examination (or equivalent) results.
Subject : English Language as a First Language: 1–7 ('O' Level Grade); Mathematics (Elementary/Additional): 1–7 ('O' Level Grade); Science (with Physics or Chemistry or Biology component) or Biotechnology or Fundamentals of Electronics: 1–6 ('O' Level Grade)
You must also fulfil the aggregate computation requirements.
Candidates with English as a second language (EL2) must have attained a minimum grade of 6.
