What will I learn?

This is a vibrant and exciting course that is taught by experienced tourism professionals.

The Course Management Team (CMT) of the Diploma in Tourism & Resort Management (DTRM) has spearheaded an initiative to raise the level of Emotional Intelligence (EI) of its students. There will be sessions to explain the eight EI competencies and the impact it might have on the students depending on which competency they are strong or weak in. In the next three years, our students will learn EI through experiential segments embedded in specific modules in our curriculum. They can look forward to a better understanding of themselves and others, and hence, gain an advantage in life and career when they graduate from SP.

Graduates can find work at executive levels in:
resorts
national tourism organisations
travel agencies
