What will I learn?

This programme will prepare students for managing spa operations from handling clients, and customizing solutions and meeting a customer’s wellness needs to developing marketing know-how and budget management skills. Instructed by qualified industry professionals, you will build valuable skills and expertise related to wellness therapies, nutrition and many more topics related to the spa and wellness industry. SOH is also accredited by the Confederation of International Beauty Therapy and Cosmetology (CIBTAC) in the United Kingdom. For DWLSM students, this means you will have an opportunity to graduate with an internationally recognized CIBTAC certification in addition to your RP diploma. The spa and wellness industry is growing rapidly in Singapore and this unique business diploma introduces you to: global wellness strategies; health and fitness concepts; tourism and hospitality theories; important business skills; practical training from the on-campus spa lab training facility; 24-week Industry Immersion Programme with both local and international hotel spas, fitness and wellness centers and professional skin care companies. Graduates have the core skills and knowledge to launch careers in a wide range of service-oriented organizations. They can look forward to roles such as Spa Manager/Spa Director; client consultant; customer service officer/executive/manager; spa operations officer/executive/manager; spa owner/director; wellness consultant; and wellness marketing executive.

Entry requirements

For international students

Applicants must satisfy the following minimum requirements: O-level holders must have English language with grades 1-6, mathematics (Elementary/Additional) with grades 1-6, any three other subjects (to be eligible for admission, they must also have sat for one subject for the ELR2B2-B aggregate type) with grades 1-6; NITEC holders must have subjects with GPA greater than equal to 3.5 and Higher NITEC holders must have subjects with GPA greater than equal to 2.0. Applicants must satisfy the following minimum requirements: A-level holders must have the obtain an A-S grade for General Paper (English Medium), obtain an A-E grade for 3 other H2 subjects, and must have taken GCE 'A' Level examinations whilst studying in a Junior College / Millennia Institute in Singapore.
