What will I learn?

The Double Degree Programme in Business Administration and Law is a prestigious five-year programme offered jointly by the School of Business and the Faculty of Law. The programme is established in line with NUS' aim of attracting the best students from Singapore and around the world, keen on having a quality education and leveraging on inter-disciplinary opportunities in a university ranked amongst the world's best.

Modules and Schedules

These schedules are for reference and non-binding. Students should plan to fulfill their DDP requirements with respect to their programme requirements. Students may, or may not be allocated modules according to these schedules. Students need to plan ahead for alternative plans.

Entry requirements

For students from United States

Applicants should have completed a good pass in at least 3 ‘Advanced’ Level subjects is required for candidates to submit an application. Many applicants submit good passes for 4 or more ‘Advanced’ Level subjects for our consideration. English Language Requirements: EL1119 minimum acceptable score C6; IELTS - 6.5 overall with 6.5 in Reading and Writing components; MUET-200; TOEFL - 580 for paper-based / 92-93 for internet-based.

For international students

There is a dual-entry system for the double degree programme:

1. Direct application by students with relevant G.C.E. A-Level or equivalent qualifications

2. Applications by current students from the School of Business or Faculty of Law which are open only to students in Semester 2 of their first year of studies. Students must apply through their home faculties. Short-listed applicants would have to attend an interview. Non-law students must also sit for a Law written test.

Candidates will only be considered if they meet the requirements of both School of Business and the Faculty of Law.

School of Business

  • Additional Mathematics in the G.C.E. O-Level examination or
  • Mathematics or Applied Mathematics or Pure Mathematics at least at G.C.E. O-Level taken in the G.C.E. A-Level examination or
  • (H1 pass in Mathematics

Faculty of Law

  • Good G.C.E. A-level results and
  • A grade of B3 or better in the General Paper (GP) OR SAT Critical Reading score of minimum 700 accompanied by a minimum GP grade of C6 or
  • A grade of B or better in H1 General Paper (GP) OR a good pass in H2 Knowledge & Inquiry (KI) OR SAT Critical Reading score of minimum 700 accompanied by a minimum E grade for GP/KI.

English Language Requirement: Applicants may present any of the following to fulfill the English Language requirement: IELTS - 6.5 overall with 6.5 in Reading and Writing components; MUET – 200; TOEFL - 580 for paper-based / 92-93 for internet-based; EL1119 - C6.
