This programme is developed by London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and awarded by University of London (UOL), UK.

LSE is one of the foremost social science universities in the world. Since its foundation in 1895, it has acquired a worldwide reputation for the quality of its research – 50% of its research was rated world-leading and a further 37% internationally excellent in the most recent assessment of research quality in UK universities.

This programme discusses statistical software and methods, their merits and limitations. It trains students to perform independent data analysis for managerial decision-making. The focus is on empirical analysis.

Entry requirements

For students from United States

A full first degree completed in a minimum of 3 years duration on a full-time basis (or equivalent) from a university or an institution acceptable to the University of London, GCE ‘O’ level Mathematics - grade C or C6 and above or its equivalent; GCE ‘O’ level English - grade C or C6 and above or its equivalent; Candidates holding professional and/or postgraduate qualifications without a full first degree cannot be considered for admission to the Graduate Entry Route. University of London International Programmes graduates from the same range of degrees under the academic direction of LSE cannot be considered for the Graduate Entry Route or for the Graduate Diploma. English Language Proficiency: paper-based TOEFL – 550, Internet-based TOEFL - 79 (no section score below 15), IELTS - 6.5 (no subsection score below 6.0), PTE Academic - 55 (no subsection score below 50), SAT I ERWS – 550, ACT (English AND Reading sections) – 20, International Baccalaureate (IB) - Diploma Higher Level English A1 or A2 – 4.

For international students

Entry requirements vary from country to country. Students are required to complete international academic qualification equivalent to Singapore.
