What will I learn?

Our Master of Science in Management programme is designed to help recent graduates gain a competitive advantage in today’s increasingly competitive global job market. Our curriculum will equip you with advanced knowledge and skills in key areas of management in a multicultural learning environment. The one-year full-time pre-experience MSc in Management programme is available to anyone who has received prior education in business-related disciplines.

The MSc in Management programme is a full-time programme. You are required to complete 40 Modular Credits (MCs) offered by NUS Business School over two semesters:

  • A maximum of two Level-4000 MSc modules (Level 4000 modules are undergraduate honours year modules)
  • A minimum of eight Level-5000 MSc modules

Entry requirements

For students from United States

Applicants require a Bachelor’s degree with honours or equivalent, in a relevant discipline; or a Bachelor’s degree with a relevant Graduate Diploma/Graduate Certificate with a minimum CAP of 3.00. English Language Requirements: TOEFL score is required: 85 for the internet-based test (with a minimum score of 22 for the writing section); or 580 for the paper-based test; or 237 for the computer-based test; an IELTS score of 6.0.

For international students

Applicants must have: Earned, or expect to earn, a good undergraduate degree from a four-year business-related degree programme. A good three-year business-related degree with very strong academic results may also be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Good TOEFL or IELTS scores if English is not the mother tongue or medium of prior undergraduate instruction. TOEFL score must be at least 260 for computer-based test, 620 for paper-based test and 100 for internet-based test. IELTS overall band score must be at least 7.0
