What will I learn?

Children and young people’s nurses work in a variety of clinical settings and provide care, support, advice and education to 0-18 year old children, young people and their parents/ carers. You will learn how to manage and maximise the health of children and young people in a hospital or in the community. This accelerated programme is NMC approved and on successful completion you will have a recognised degree qualification that leads to registration as a qualified nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council.You will:Acquire the essential knowledge, skills and professional attitudes needed to meet the needs of the service users, carers and significant othersDevelop knowledge of concepts of wellbeing, public health and global health including an awareness of factors affecting health within a diverse and multi-cultural societyGain the experience necessary to work towards NMC registration

Entry requirements

For international students

GCSE English and Maths at grade C/grade 4 minimum (or equivalent). Level 5 degree apprenticeship, foundation degree or diploma in nursing or a relevant subject. IELTS score of 7.0, with no element below 7.0, is proof of this.
