Criminology and Law - BA (Hons): Fees & Entry Requirements at University Centre at the Heart of Yorkshire Education Group (inc Wakefield College & Selby College), UK

What will I learn?

The Criminology and Law Degree Programme has been meticulously designed to empower students with the knowledge, skills, and competencies required to access employment opportunities within various services such as the police, fire service, educational institutions, and government bodies, as well as the broader public sector, including vital areas such as the probation service, social services, and youth justice. Criminology and law professionals are frequently confronted with complex, multifaceted issues that demand strategic decision-making. By developing critical thinking skills, our students can effectively analyse these challenges, identify viable solutions, and make informed decisions that positively impact communities. The program ensures that students gain comprehensive knowledge of the different services and their various wider sectors. Through hands-on experiences in simulated table-top scenarios, placements, guest speakers, trips and visits, and practical coursework, students apply their expertise to real-world situations, preparing them to excel in roles within criminology and law.
