Overview

The International Study Centre at the University of Sussex aims to develop international students’ confidence, boost their English language proficiency and give them the academic knowledge required to succeed in an undergraduate or postgraduate degree programme at the University of Sussex. Programmes at the Centre are provided by Study Group in conjunction with the University of Sussex. There are a range of different academic courses at the Centre, including international foundation, international year one, pre-masters, that are structured to prepare students for an undergraduate or postgraduate degree at the University of Sussex. Students will further benefit from small class sizes, university-style teaching and individually tailored support. The International Study Centre also has a career element and a range of employability activities integrated into its academic courses. These are designed to give students a head start in a highly competitive graduate job market.
