What will I learn?

Develop a deeper understanding of the theory and practice of English Language Teaching (ELT) with this master’s degree. You can apply for this course if you have experience in teaching English as a Foreign Language (EFL) and want to gain skills for leadership roles in ELT.

Assessment methods (Outcome qualification level)

We'll assess your knowledge through: individual and group projects and presentations, through workshop activities, written assignments, and the dissertation.

Entry requirements

For international students

You’ll need a 2:1 degree in one of the following subjects: English, Linguistics, and Modern Languages. You’ll also need a minimum of two years’ professional experience related to English language teaching. English language: Band C, IELTS 6.5 overall, with a minimum of 6.0 in all components.
