About the course
Working in small teams within a close community of passionate filmmakers, you will take an active role in all stages of production. There is a strong commitment from a supportive academic team, working with students to realise rewarding creative projects to be proud of.
Our course offers a wide variety of skills development required for the film and screen media industries. You will develop core techniques required for film such as, directing, producing, cinematography, lighting, sound, editing and storytelling. You will also have the opportunity to work with industry professionals and produce original video content in response to creative briefs.
Our community of students appreciate creative freedom to explore a wide range of productions, from fiction, documentary, advertising, music video, client work and exploring meaning through image. On your journey you will explore key crew skills, commercial product development, opening new approaches to storytelling and fundamental skills in fiction and non-fiction filmmaking.
Your developed knowledge and confidence will give you the tools to successfully navigate the film and screen industries by the end of the course.
