From positions in agencies, freelance consultancy, advertising, animation and visual effects, there are many directions a graphic design degree can take you. With newly updated facilities for graphic design, you'll be supported throughout your studies as you develop new skillsets using emerging technologies. Workshops and studios include iMac-equipped spaces, green screens, video and photography suites, and printmaking workshops. Gain the essential experience required to become a successful graphic designer and graduate with an impressive portfolio that demonstrates your skills and talents. Utilise our international experience with our DMU Global programme, that will further showcase your capabilities to prospective employers. Not only do you learn how to apply your creativity, you’ll also be able to take your knowledge beyond theory to develop areas such as research, analytical and entrepreneurial skills. Our teaching staff are practising designers with a range of experience and close industry links, allowing you to spend time working with professional clients. Duration: Three years full-time, four years with placement
