How will I be assessed?

You will be assessed in each module. Assessment is designed to help you build on your success and meet the requirements for entry to the first year of a degree. Grades from the International Foundation programme do not count towards the final degree but they help the University assess your abilities in your chosen field of study.

Entry requirement for international students

Academic requirements: Completion of 12 years of schooling (or the local equivalent to meet the same standard) with good grades. Age requirements: 16 years and above. All students must be 16 years old by the time they start their INTO UEA course and turn 17 years old by 15 September of the year they start their degree at UEA. English language requirements (Standard): IELTS 5.0 (with a minimum of 5.0 in Writing and 4.5 in any other subskills) or equivalent. English language requirements (Extended): IELTS 4.5 overall (with a minimum of 4.5 in Writing and Reading and no less than 4.0 in other subskills) or equivalent.
