Summary

Overview

Build on your business skills and develop your understanding of the flow of information between suppliers, manufacturers, logistics service providers, retailers and consumers on this MSc Logistics and Supply Chain Management degree course.

On this course, you'll integrate analytical techniques for optimisation with the current issues and latest developments in technology relating to logistics and operations management. You'll learn how to streamline activities to improve the overall effectiveness and efficiency of an organisation. And you'll plan and produce a personal research-driven project, honing your skills and knowledge in the field.

We'll provide the expertise and support so you can develop your professional practice. Once you graduate, you'll have all the tools required for a career in logistics and operations management, either in the UK or further afield.

This course is accredited by the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT). Students studying CILT accredited courses receive exemptions from the academic requirements for membership. Graduates of the MSc Logistics and Supply Chain Management course with an overall average pass mark above 50% are eligible to apply for Chartered Membership (CMILT) once they have gained the necessary experience.

Entry requirement for international students

A second-class honours degree in a relevant subject, or equivalent professional experience and/or qualifications. English language proficiency at a minimum of IELTS band 6.0 with no component score below 5.5. For most of our Master's degrees, you need a TOEFL score of 91 with a minimum of: 20 in Reading; 19 in Listening; 21 in Speaking; 20 in Writing.
