Entry requirement for international students
Minimum entry requirements usually include a 2:1 degree in music or an equivalent qualification. Candidates who have been studying or working in another field will be considered. For the intensive (13 month) course, you will need to achieve an IELTS overall test score of 6.5 with no lower than 6.0 in the reading and writing components, and no lower than 5.5 in the speaking and listening components. For the full-time (2 year) course, you will need to achieve an overall test score of 6.0 with no lower than 5.5 in any of the four components (reading, writing, speaking and listening). For the full-time (2 year) course you will need to achieve TOEFL iBT 78, 17 in listening and writing components, 18 in reading, 20 in speaking. For the (13 months intensive) course you will need to achieve TOEFL iBT 90, 17 in listening, 20 in reading, writing, and speaking.
