What will I learn?

Our unique World Philosophies degree offers you the chance to engage with a diverse range of philosophical traditions from Asia, Africa, the Middle East, and Europe. This course will expand your knowledge and develop your critical understanding of philosophy in the context of a wider range of societies and historical eras than a traditional philosophy degree. You will investigate the origin, nature, methods, and limits of human knowledge; traditions of argumentation; as well as political and ethical systems of thought from a truly global perspective.This combined degree also offers you the opportunity to study the musical traditions of Asia, Africa and the Middle East, and their global diasporas.
