What will I learn?

Develop the skills and knowledge to become a registered mental health nurse. We will support you to care for yourself while caring for others. Designed in collaboration with the Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust, this course will provide you with experience and confidence, with an emphasis on leadership and shaping a ‘culture of care’. Under the mentorship of experienced nurses and healthcare professionals, you’ll gain experience and confidence during the degree course. Our connection with the Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust – an organisation committed to providing a specialist mental health service to the local community – is instrumental in ensuring that you’ll develop invaluable skills and real-world experience.

Entry requirements

For international students

112 UCAS tariff points, BBC at A levels with one subject preferably in a science. DMM at BTEC to include 6 units in a Science or Health Science subject. 2:2 or above in a previous degree, or a Merit in T-Level in a science or health-related subject. Access to HE Diploma from a QAA recognised Access to HE course in a health or science based subject. Applicants required to meet 112 tariff points (example of achieving this would be 24 distinctions and 15 merits and 6 passes or 21D, 18M and 6P). IELTS 7.0 overall with no less than 6.5 in any other component TOEFL - Reading – 24, Writing - 24, Listening – 22, Speaking – 25, Total – 95
