What will I learn?

This programme combines the chance to perfect your skills in the sixth most widely spoken language in the world and explore how language itself is acquired, produced and understood. The programme is designed to provide you with a deep knowledge of the cultures where Portuguese is spoken (in Portugal, Angola, Brazil, Mozambique, Guinea-Bissau, Cape Verde and São Tome e Prncipe). You will also be trained in areas such as how language functions between individuals and in society, what its abstract structure is, how it is represented in the brain, and how it changes over time.
