What will I learn?

The Social Sciences cover a wide range of aspects of human society, while studying Law will give you an understanding of how those societies uphold civility and good social order. On this course, you’ll develop important skills for studying a related master’s degree, helping you start a career in anything from politics to human rights.

  • Your Pre-Master’s course will have a special combination of modules designed to fit your degree and career aspirations. This means your course is matched to your unique goals.
  • Some of these modules will be taken by you and all other students on your course. This gives you a solid base of common study skills that you’ll need at university.
  • In many cases, you can also customise your course by choosing some or all additional modules from a selection, and / or by selecting some project topics based on your interests and degree subject.
  • During your Pre-Master’s, you’ll have frequent assessments to check you’re on track to progress to your University of Liverpool degree.

Entry requirements

For international students

Successful completion of an undergraduate degree or diploma (Grades and relevant background requirements vary dependant on the university degree and pathway course). Students need to have a UKVI IELTS score of: 5.0 (no less than 4.5 in any skill) for course duration with 3 terms.
