Summary

This multidisciplinary programme develops your theory, analytical skills, relationship building capability, understanding of organisational negotiation, leadership, interpretation and interaction knowledge within communications. Communication and language is fundamental to how businesses, people and societies prosper. The programme brings communication disciplines from The Business School, and Linguistics expertise from the School of Language, Literature, Music and Visual Culture to provide real depth to your knowledge and career.

The Business School offers programmes which cover all major business disciplines including: Accountancy, Finance and Real Estate; Economics; and Business Management. Within these disciplines an international team of academics with industry experience offer Marketing Management, and Digital Marketing Leadership at postgraduate level.

The School of Language, Literature, Music and Visual Culture investigate discourse analysis, language variation, attitudes and learning. The School offers a wide range of communication specialists and research with centres which are: The Centre for Linguistics Research. the Centre for the Novel; George Washington Wilson Centre for Visual Culture, WORD Centre for Creative Writing; Walter Scott Research Centre and others. You are welcome to attend events and seminars in both Schools and across the wider university.
