What will I learn?

This degree has your future career in mind. It enables you to take the first steps to becoming a chartered psychologist. Your studies are supported by purpose-built research laboratories and psychological analysis equipment, including eye trackers, a driving simulator, EEG (recording brain activity) and specialist survey software.Topics include schizophrenia, counselling and positive psychology, autism, cyberbullying and prejudice.You'll be able to tailor your studies to suit your interests and ambitions. There are opportunities to participate in original research projects and you'll be supported by research-active academics. Specialised work placements will give you direct work experience – much sought-after by graduate employers.

Entry requirements

112-128 UCAS tariff points (to include at least two A-levels or equivalent qualifications. A Level Psychology is not essential but must be passed at grade C or above if taken); Degree with foundation year 48 BTEC Lvl3 National: Distinction, Merit, Merit (DMM) Candidates are normally required to hold five GCSE subjects at grade C/4 or above, including Mathematics and English Language. We welcome applications from International Applicants. Please view our standard entry requirements from your country All non-UK applicants must meet our English Language requirements.
