The Public Health and Community Studies with Foundation Year BA (Hons) course aims to provide you with a solid grounding for building a career in health-related disciplines.The strength of the course lies in preparing students, who are unable to follow the more traditional route onto a degree course in public health and community studies.Public health is considered the science and art of promoting and protecting health and wellbeing, preventing ill-health and prolonging life through the organised efforts of society.Students who successfully complete their foundation year will then progress onto the Public Health and Community Studies BA (Hons).4 years full-time
