What will I learn?

The BA (Hons) Sales and Marketing Management degree at Cardiff Met offers an opportunity to become a Sales specialist with a marketing degree. The degree has been developed in conjunction with the Institute of Sales Management, ensuring the teaching content is well aligned to industry expectations. All our marketing courses have a renowned reputation for their vocational orientation - becoming a 'Met Marketer' will enable you to gain the academic knowledge and practical skills needed to succeed in a Sales and Marketing career.The BA (Hons) Sales and Marketing Management has been developed in conjunction with the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) to ensure that teaching content is in line with industry expectations. The course has been awarded the CIM 'Accredited Degree' status – this accreditation provides our students with an opportunity to gain exemption from both the CIM Certificate in Professional Marketing and Diploma in Professional Marketing Qualifications.Course Length:Three years full-time.Four years full-time if undertaking year-long industry placement.Four years full-time if undertaking foundation year.Five years full-time if undertaking foundation year and year-long industry​ placement.​

Tariff points: 112 Contextual offer: See our contextual offers page. GCSE: Five GCSEs at Grade C / 4 or above to include English Language / Welsh First Language, Mathematics / Mathematics – Numeracy. English Language Requirement: Academic IELTS 6.0 overall with at least 5.5 in all elements, or equivalent. A level subjects: Minimum three A levels to include Grades CCC. No specific subjects required. Welsh Baccalaureate – Advanced Skills Challenge Certificate considered as a third subject. BTEC National / Cambridge Technical Extended Diploma: DMM T Level: Merit. Access to Higher Education Diploma: No specific subjects required. International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma: 2 x H5. No specific subjects required. Irish Leaving Certificate: 2 x H2 grades. No specific subjects required. Higher level subjects only considered with a minimum grade H4. Scottish Advanced Highers: Grades DD. No specific subjects required. Scottish Highers are also considered, either on their own or in combination with Advanced Highers. ​IELTS Academic - ​Overall score 6.0 (with no component below 5.5). ​TOEFL IBT - ​Overall score 72 with minimum scores required in each skill area are (Reading-18, Listening-17, Writing-17, Speaking-20)
