What will I learn?

This programme is aimed at teachers who want to gain a deeper understanding of the theories and practice that govern English language teaching. If you want to teach in higher education or private schools the programme also provides an opportunity to gain a professional qualification (for an extra cost), such as a CELTA.

The optional module on multimedia provides you with technology-enhanced teaching experience.

Assessment

You will be assessed by a wide variety of methods, including poster presentations, technical exercises, critiques of theoretical and methodological proposals in the literature, research and lab reports, essays and extended written analyses.

Entry requirements

For international students

Students need a degree. They need IELTS Academic: 7.0 overall including 7.0 in Writing, Reading, Listening and Speaking, TOEFL: 100 overall including 27 in Writing, 24 in Reading, 22 in Listening and 25 in Speaking.
